More than Bricks and Mortar

In October 2007, the Crossroads Community was presented with concept plans to        develop our site.  It had become apparent that the growth of this Community  was exceeding the space available.  The Elders had it on their hearts to maximise the potential of the property at Church Street, so that more people could call Crossroads theire spiritual home.

In October 2007 many our our church family pledged to contribute toward this development.  The result was good but not enough to complete the project but good enough to give the Elders the mandate to proceed with the development in stages.

It is now 2010 and alot has happened in the journey so far, but the Elders are still sure it is God's plan.  This project has not just been about a building project, but about building our faith along the way and all along it has always been about "more than bricks and mortar"

"THE BRICK" version 1 was launched in 2007 which detailed all the plans and explained   the vision and how people could be involved.

"THE BRICK" version 2 has just been lauched 21 March 2010.  To see this Brick click on    below:

The Crossroads Early Childhood Centre Playground marked the first "spade in the ground" for the Building Project.  The Playground needed to be turned around to make way for the development of this site. This job was done over the December/January School Holidays.  It was completed in time for the new term at the beginning of February 2010.
