A Christmas breather for parents… and a fun afternoon for kids!
Christmas gets busy — we get it. So we’re creating a chance for parents to breathe: get some Christmas shopping done, wrap a few presents, grab a coffee, or simply enjoy a couple of quiet hours. Meanwhile, your kids will be having a great time with a Christmas movie, snacks, and a sausage sizzle.

What your kids can look forward to
We’re showing The Star, a fun, family-friendly Christmas movie kids love.
During the movie they’ll enjoy:
Chips and a drink
A sausage sizzle afterwards
Space to relax, laugh, and hang out with other kids from the community
Check-in & safety
We use a simple sticker “sister system” to keep check-in and check-out secure:
Your child gets a name sticker and a matching parent sticker.
We put a sticker card to your child, and you keep the matching one.
When you return, we only release children to the adult with the matching sticker.
We’ll collect emergency contact details, allergy info, and anything else you think we should know.
This helps everything run smoothly and gives parents confidence while they’re away.
Our volunteers are also all Police vetted.
This event is geared towards 3-13 year olds, so we ask you not to drop off any kids older or younger than that.

We also know Christmas can be expensive. So, when you register, you can tick a box to have toys delivered to your home before Christmas - totally free and no strings attached.
