What is Alpha?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life, faith, and God in a friendly, open, and informal environment through a series of interactive sessions with food, a video, and open discussion.
If you're interested in exploring Christianity, or just have questions about faith in general, it's well worth checking out. Each week covers a different topic and invites open discussion with others in table groups or with a group in the lounge of one of our hosts.
Sessions include topics such as:
Is There More To Life Than This?
Who is Jesus and why did he die?
As well as Faith, Prayer, The Bible, the Holy Spirit and how does it all play out in our lives today?

How It Works at The Grove
When you sign up for Alpha, we’ll connect you into a small group that meets in a home near you.
These groups:
Run weekly for the duration of Alpha
Are hosted by people from The Grove
Create a relaxed, welcoming environment
Often continue on as ongoing Connect Groups after Alpha finishes
When It Starts
Alpha launches the first week of June
Groups will meet on different nights of the week in homes across Kelvin Grove.
When you register, we’ll help place you in a group that suits your location and availability.
